            Spinach Cheese Cutlets is a delicious and healthy Indian appetizer made by using Spinach, cheese and various Indian spices. This vegan snack is easily made in less time with help of ingredients that is easily found in any kitchen.

This healthy snack is kid friendly as kids like to eat cheese and this snack contains both taste and nutrients in the form of cheese and spinach.
You can easily make this snack for any parties, picnic, get together because it can be prepared in large quantities in less time and also liked by everyones.

Ingredients
  - 1 cup chopped spinach leaves
- 3 tbsp Processed cheese/ Mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 tsp Red chilli flakes
- 1 cup Bread crumbs
- 1 boiled Large potato
- ½ tsp Amchur Powder
- ¼ tsp Chaat Masala
- ½ tsp Garam Masala
- ½ tsp Roasted Jeera Seeds
- ½ tsp Coriander Powder
- ½ tsp Red Chili Powder
- 2 tbsp Maida/ All purpose flour
- 4 tbsp Water
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Recipe Steps
  - Boil 1 cup chopped Spinach Leaves in ½ cup Water in a pan  for 3-4 minutes. After 4 minutes transfer boiled spinach leaves in a bowl having cold water.Let the boiled spinach leaves immersed in  cold water  for 1- 2 minutes. This process is called blanching. Grind Blanched spinach leaves without water in a blender. Transfer the spinach puree from the blender jar to a bowl.
- Take 3 tbsp Mozzarella cheese  on a plate. Add oregano and red chilli flakes in the mozzarella cheese. Mix Well. Stuffing for Spinach Cheese cutlets is ready. Set it  aside.
- Take a mixing bowl .Grate boiled potato in a mixing bowl. Now add Spinach puree in it. Add  ¾cups of bread crumbs in a mixing bowl(¼ cup of breadcrumb is left for coating). Now add amchur powder, Chaat masala, Garam Masala, Roasted Cumin/ jeera seeds, Coriander powder, Red chilli powder and salt in a mixing Bowl. Mix Well to form a moist dough.
- Make a slurry of Maida or all purpose flour and water in a bowl . Mix Well with no lumps. Set it aside.
- Grease oil in your palm  and take a lemon size portion from dough and start rolling dough into a ball. Insert a finger inside the ball and fill the stuffing mixture of mozzarella cheese in it. Cover the stuffing mixture with the same dough itself. Prepare similar stuffed patties/stuffed cheese balls  and keep it aside.
- Coat each stuffed cheese ball with Maida and water slurry mixture and then coat with left over breadcrumbs(¼ cup breadcrumbs). Prepare each cheese ball in a similar way and keep it aside in a plate.
- Heat oil in a kadhai. Fry stuffed cheese balls in oil from all the sides until it becomes crisp golden brown in colour.
- Serve hot Spinach Cheese balls with  spicy green coriander chutney and sweet tomato ketchup.
 You can use Semolina or Suji also for coating  cutlets instead of bread crumbs.
 You can shallow fry these cutlets if you don’t want to eat deep fried.
 If you don’t have bread crumbs in your home then  you can prepare it in your home. Toast 3-4 bread slices in a toaster or tawa without using butter or ghee. Now grind these toast bread  in a food processor or mixer grinder. Fresh crisp bread crumbs are ready.
